WHAT IF?

The creator, Micah McCool, wants to go back to the source with materials ... larger, older, longer pieces than can be found in regular stores. Standing in an old forest can be a magical experience. We would like to bring this experience to the home and bedroom with no ordinary log beds. We combine centuries of exotic wood growth that you can sleep on with rhythmic and perpetual motion all within the artistic confines of a completely one-of-a-kind therapeutic luxury bed.

Extra time and care is taken with each unique bed to ensure this custom furniture maintains its aesthetic and integral quality. A satisfyingly comfortable bed to say the least, each is entirely original and is potentially a very large bed. An art bed made by us can be custom fit to any size mattress and to most spaces; although it is desirable to have at least a 20' X 20' room in order to accommodate our average size natural bed creations. We can use metal and smaller pieces of wood if necessary to make the client's dream bed a reality BUT we do emphatically recommend one chooses to go with our old hardwood in large sections ... perhaps even trees used from the buyer's own property. These beautifully handmade wooden beds are ideal not only for families and those interested in quality beauty sleep but also for settings such as bed and breakfast facilities, vacation homes and rental cabins, resorts, old homes being newly remodeled, and new homes in the building process.

Custom Art BedPricing depends upon the individual's preference for personal investment and potential charitable contribution toward a worthy cause to be determined collaboratively by the client and creator at the time of sale. We work with Helping Hands Ministries, Inc. to provide you with this charitable option. However, a swing bed of the caliber of the ones pictured here on our website will begin pricing at $5,000 USD. Again, no two of our comfortable beds are alike. We are operating out of Middle Tennessee. Shipping, installation, and any insurance needs/requirements should be considered in connection with the buyer's destination. Also important is to remember for whom and for what reason(s) the beds interest you. These facts will greatly influence the ultimate outcome of the product(s) and pricing. We seek to fulfill fine art expectations and promote the long life of each floating bed. We prefer to have each beautiful bed moved and installed in its final location by our own people due to the potentially dangerous dimensions of the materials involved. A wood bed can weigh an average of 1.5 tons. We will also be asking for a 50% deposit to begin filling the order once final pricing has been determined. Please visit our purchasing information page for more tips on pricing and customizing your TreeBedTM.

We suggest beginning dialogue with us right now. It may take from 6 months up to one year to turn plans and negotiations into a finished product meant to become a family heirloom. In the case that one orders a metal or wooden bed that happens to have already been built, it may be possible to have it rather promptly. Private and confidential conversation is imperative to maintain quality and integrity. Email us at mccool@treebeds.com or call us at (706) 351-0986 to open discussions and learn more about our original creations made just for you. We make ideas happen. Be a part of history.
